What I made and gave

Although I don't think my receiver was as happy with the gifts I made as I was thourghly excited by my gifts I received.My person I sent to liked Rainbow brite and Twilight.You can't tell from the pics but the cross stitch colors are really bright.I made everything else with out a pattern.A book cover,a crochet needle case with room for sissors,a match book note pad with a Bella quote and a cross stitched book mark that sums up New Moon in my opinion.She sent me a pm saying they were great but I think she was expecting more of a wow factor.This was my first swap.I didn't think to add a little extra or package it all pretty.I sent it in a recycled bubble envelope.It's just I spent way more time on the items than required and I expected too much in way of thanks.

Let me say that I LOVE my package.Alex is Amazing.And if you have never been to craftster.org you should go.Really creative people and inspirational.

I love most things done by Joss Weadon.I just saw White Noise 2 with Nathan Fillian staring in it.He plays capt. Mal in the Serenity series.Who ever wrote that movie knows the Jossverse.Cause they had another character refer to Nathan as Capt. Tight Pants.A nick name for his role in Serenity.I thoought it was so funny.And it was a good movie.Not gory,really.But the mystery of it and how it played out was really good.I reccomend it.Night all.

Bummer post

If a good mom's day is sitting around all day watching tv then ok.I did get this wonderful lady bug that my 7 yr old made for me.
Yesterday my middle girlie turned 16.We gave her a party at laser tag.It was nice.But DH lost the money earlier this week.So,no prezzies.Cake,pizza and 2 games was fun.I just wanted to do more.He needs a darn money clip.
I'm just cranky today.
I really wish all the care giving women out there a wonderful day and pleasant night.

If you've been here for a little while you may have noticed that I put up my mommy's villages for her.For me,too.I love the way I get to create with how I form them and the flow I can create.So, with out further ado

 

That's with the lights lit in the houses.Not all are lit.I left the light sets in with the x-mas stuff.Can't find them all.
