Our Early Turkey Day

 My Turkey was moist and yummy.My family was together.Paul made the stuffing/dressing with MaryAnn's directing him.Jas made the gravy from the drippings,also with directions from Nana.It was nice to be all together.
 We did it buffet style.Ate in the living room together while a ball game was on.E learned that being together,Not the day you clebrate on, is the meaning of why we are thankful.And I was able to teach her that.Cin and Jas already know this.MaryAnn spent the night.Cin slept in the living room with her.She loves Nana so much.E made Nana a going away card.
  In preparation for the meal: Paul and I hung the huge rug on the line.He was a really big help.I beat the tar{dog hair,dust and what not} out of it for an hour and still didn't get all the hair out.Had to take it down by myself and get it up into the house with out getting any mess on it.Did I mention that is is really heavy? ;}
Vaccumed the house,put the rug down and vaccumed again.Looks pretty good.
Walked to store to get bread and stuff{dollar store,yay!}.Went with Paul to get turky and fixings.Waited for MaryAnn to be here.All then felt right.And I was thankful.
  MaryAnn and mommy were discussing what I wanted for Christmas.Mom and I had been talking about getting a quesenart{?}.MaryAnn offered me the one that I have been coveting of her's.Mom said she would get me a crock pot.MaryAnn already has one picked out for me.So, Mommy is getting me this buffet style cabinet.It was used for holding up a fish tank.The dimensions are perfect for my dining room and I will finally have a place to put our village up.I normally sit back and don't ask for gifts.This year they thought of me.This makes me smile.
E has been sick the last couple of days.Paul and my mom,too.
  Dr. K wants me to see my gastroenterologist so that I can get back on Remacaid.I see him in January.Until then I'm taking the meds as ordered.My dear friend who passed last week always reminded me not to self medicate.Always check with the Dr first.Loraina was a beautiful soul that now has joy instead of pain and the need to fight.I do miss her physical presence.
 Jas wants to pay off our library debt so we can check out books again.I'm gonna see if she wants to take the bus with me.She has a phobia about the bus and riding with strangers.I have to metaphoriclly hold her hand.It's good, though.

Doing much better

It seems I'm getting better.
A dear friend died on Friday.Her hubby called me Saturday.She was my closest friend in Rio Dell.She was supose to come home on Friday.My heart is heavy.I miss her.
Everything's about balance,right?
Lately I've just been pushing on.Trying to enjoy the good things as they come.Because there are many good things.My brain just focuses on the icky stuff.
GOOD NEWS:
We can have Thanksgiving as a family.
Paul works that day,MaryAnn isn't going to be here and we can have it a week early.The day doesn't mater as long as we are together.I am looking forward to this.

Icky Sicky

Well, I was out of commision again.Had the flu which has triggered a crohns disease flare up.I get up,take the youngest to the bus and go back to bed.I get up to pick her up and then back to bed.It is some what FRUSTRATING! Oh well.This is it.This is life.And away we go............

New Rental?

We find out if we get the rental tomorrow.It's so hard with what PPM/Consolidated Rental did to our credit.Let me sum up: When they raised our rent to 1300 for a 3 bdrm we decided to move.When we did they decided to charge us for things that they aren't allowed to.After 4 years they can't charge for normal wear and tear.They charged for steam cleaning the steps in front of the apt,rug replacement,painting of the apt and removal of items that belonged to the owner.We lived there for 7 years.Sent us one letter.Since we didn't respond they sent it straight to credit report.No court.So, now we have retained a lawyer who is going to help us.BUT it will take a year to get the $5000 off our credit.We need to be out of here by the end of Sept.Land owner lost the house to the bank.
So, there it is.
Other than that, E had a good back to school night.Paul came and met her teacher.Cin likes her IS and Jas has spent a week or so with us.
I have to go see my gastroenterologist. My dr thinks I may have another blockage that may need surgery.YUCKY! Oh well.
My mom had to go to ER.Got rehydrated,no COPD complications, and is doing good.This makes me extremely happy.
I have good things in my life.I have good feelings.I just forget to remember what is good in my life.

Missing since July.......

Wow.I didn't realize it had been that long.Dealing with housing,my crohns disease,my mom's copd and life in general is sometimes all consuming.Trying to get back in the swing of blogging.Hi to all and hope to see your blogs daily ~Anne
