Rain, Rain go AWAY!

All the water is collecting under the house and surounding the house.About 2-3 inches deep.Except for right in front of the door and the place in which we pull up the car.The grass is like 10 inches high in some places.It's been so wet that I haven't been able to cut it.Come on warmer weather.At least it's not snowing here.

We got a Kinect.Elora has not been able to do much with this weather.Kinect Animals has kept her busy and gotten her energy out.Paul likes it,and Jas and Cinda.I haven't gotten to,yet.Actually I haven't said it was my turn,yet.But when I do YOU will know about it.Gonna have to go off to the store soon.Argh.And did I mention it's cold and wet?Be good to everyone.

Ferndale Tractor Parade/2nd Largest living xmas tree in US

My youngest daughter loves the tractor parade.My middle girl only went cause her friend wanted to go with us.My oldest isn't into being out in the cold and rain.It was cold,wet and fun.Hot cocoa and family.This is the trophy for best float

 

I tried to get a pic of middle girlie with tree.It's the 2nd largest living Christmas tree in the U.S. Yahoo says so.But here's the problem:Cell phone photography and a really dark rural night.

All 3 girls(youngest,middle and middle's friend) were in front of the tree in this photo.Middle girle,Cin, hasn"t ever seen the tree.I took them up to the base so they could see that the bulbs are colored light bulbs.Like the kind you use in a lamp.She was amazed.I wanted to share that with her.I'm glad that I did.This was Sunday.Gosh it was fun.

I made a few more ornaments as per the Teacher Gift Post 
I normally get all tied up inside about cutting up any book.These ornaments were made from a math text book that was going to be destroyed back in 95 by my daughters' school.They wanted it then it got water damage and I have been kind of hoarding it ever since.YEAH, I'm one of those people.Mine mine mine gimme gimme gimme.I'm seeing daffy duck holding a pearl while saying this in an old bugs bunny cartoon running in my minds eye.So, no land fill but crafty gifts years later.And here are the other three.

Recycled to Christmas count down tree

My little tape holder and taper and I made an Advent,Christmas,holiday count down tree.Just think candy everyday 'til Christmas.Toilet paper rolls,gift wrap,tape,glue gun,plastic bags, tissue paper(gift kind:} NOT from the rolls) and CANDY.Did I mention the candy?I linked it a day late here:

 You wrap the rolls.Tape is for the wrapping.Hot glue them in a tree shape.Wrap the candy in baggies or just the tissue paper(I did both).We use a decorated chop stick to push the treat out the back.I have 3 kids so, three little treats in each tube.You could use toys or anything that your kids like(candy).You can also add ribbon around it.My wrapping had a wax like coating which made me have to reglue a few places.Also, pick it up from the bottom.I pulled the first two layers off trying to pick it up from the top.DOH! My first Craft Spot Challenge(Accessories)

I made this from a fleece remnant.36" long and 5" wide.I fringed the ends and pulled from end to end.This causes the fleece to roll up on itself.Comfy cozy.E likes it.

I'm complaining about being well?

 I know.I was sick for years and years.The last 7 months I have been off immune supressers .No infusions,no pills except for pain med(way low dose) and Calcium with D.My problem? I don't know what to do with myself.I have been sick on and off since I was 18.Pretty steady for the last 5 years.I am now 40.Cleaning up the house is a slow process.I am so use to having to stay in bed most of the day that I sometimes don't know when to start on the bathroom or living room.I use to be a maid.I know, hard to believe.

So, I'm learning I can do laundry everyday instead of all at once when I feel able to.I can clean the bathroom in parts instead of all at once.The vacumming is really my down fall.But I am learning.Always with that fear that my Crohns will flare up again.
I will continue to learn and my poor family will learn to deal with my frustration and give me some HELP.
So, yeah.How you doin"?

Easiest Cake/Brownie in a mug/cup

I don't like to cook.Baking I like to do sporadicaly.But I love a little sweet now and then with out a lot of work.Found this one recipe and it has become my all time favorite.Found Here:

4 T. Instant Brownie Mix
Measure all small Ziploc baggie, seal.
Place in a Mug lined with Tissue paper, attach pretty tag.
Attach Tag:
Pour mix into mug add. 2 Tbsp water & mix well. Microwave for 1 minute.
. Add ins: (Choose 1 of the following)
1 T. mini m&m's 1 T. Chopped Walnuts 1 T. Chopped Pecans 1 T. Dried
Chopped Cherries
(I like to add a tablespoon of vanilla ice cream after it is done)
